.
Summer Camp took the lead on the final turn then had to hold on for dear life as Southwestern Dream and Tim Tetrick made up a ton of ground in the stretch and Delivered From Zin and Corey Callahan stormed down the lane in a :28 final panel. David Miller drove Summer Camp, a Rocknroll Hanover-Roman Art gelding, to his second Preferred win in four weeks for Baron Racing and VIP Internet Stable. The post change from Post 8 to Post 2 helped Southwestern Dream while Delivered From Zin continues to show his ability.
Ise The By Boy has come back to top form in the $23,000 Open pace. Ron Pierce guided the Mac Three-Prince Lee Fiesta gelding trained by Eric Ell for owners Ken Wood, Bill Dittmar and Steve Iaquinta to his second straight victory annexing a 1:51.1 decision. Arctic Warrior (David Miller) was a strong second. Fancyfreeshark (Jon Roberts) led early and held on for third.
