Saving Sammy: Return To The Races
CTV Atlantic recently featured a follow-up to the O'Brien Award award-winning, five-part series "Saving Sammy."
The original "Saving Sammy" series, which aired in May 2021, shared the story of Samspace, a racehorse born and raised in Nova Scotia but feared deceased by his former connections. As told by CTV's Jayson Baxter, one phone call in December 2019 changed the life of Samspace and his former owner – Baxter's father, Denny.
The new five-part series "Saving Sammy: Return To The Races" features a healed 'Sammy' giving 78-year-old Denny one last thrill on the track.
