The Meadowlands has announced the addition of a late closing series for three-year-olds of all gaits and sex in the spring of 2023. The series will be designed to provide starts over the mile track for green horses. 

"Trainers have asked for a series where they can race their green horses over The Meadowlands mile track," said Jason Settlemoir, General Manager. "The young horses need starts and we have a very difficult time filling overnight races for those classes, so we'll try doing it this way."
