No Plan Intended Jogs In Charlottetown Preferred
No Plan Intended was in a class of his own as he trounced the Saturday afternoon (Oct. 15) Preferred Pace at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
Jason Hughes drove No Plan Intended, a son of Up The Credit owned by trainer Jennifer Doyle and Danny Birt of Earnscliffe, to a 1:54 victory. The Governor’s Plate Champion and Gold Cup and Saucer runner-up (shown above in a previous win) sprinted through fractions of :27.4, :56.1 and 1:26.1 to win by five lengths over Fern Hill General (Driven by Brodie MacPhee) and a hard closing Navalny (Adam Merner).
Hughes also captured the $2,800 back-up pace in Race 3 as a trainer-driver with the red-hot Spicey P in 1:55.1 from his own stable for owner Robi Hughes of Stratford.
