Privilege Pounces In Truro Feature
Driver Todd Trites secured the slipstream behind the pacesetter and capitalized to take the $2,500 Winners-Over Pace at Truro Raceway on Monday afternoon (Oct. 10).
Little Manny carved the work thorugh a clip of :27.4, :56.2 and 1:25.3 with Privilege in tow. Frontier Cruise attempted a first-over push, but floundered on the rim through the middle half. Privilege dashed from the pocket as Little Manny levelled out for home and maintained control to win by 1-3/4 lengths while chased by Dont Ask Logan, closing from second over for second. Well Did took third and Rusty Riley finished fourth.
A six-year-old gelding by Sunshine Beach, Privilege won his 23rd race from 92 starts and has now banked $93,969. George Rennison trains the $6.70 winner for owners Aiden Ferrish and All For Fun Stable. Todd Trites sat in the sulky.
