Bulldog Hanover's Sister Sells For Six Figures
Buttercup Hanover, a two-year-old half sister to the fastest horse ever, Bulldog Hanover, sold for six figures in an online auction on Wednesday, Oct. 5.
Buttercup Hanover was purchased by Crawford Farms, LLC for $185,500 on Wednesday via onGait.com.
Trainer/owner Jack Darling consigned the Betting Line filly, who was coming off a 1:53.1 maiden-breaking victory in her seventh start on Sept. 15 at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
As a side note, Bulldog Hanover has a chance to eclipse his own 1:45.4 world record on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 9) at The Red Mile in the $153,000 Allerage Farms Open.
Also selling on Wednesday, Captain T Hanover p,3,1:53.3h, a three-year-old old son of Captaintreacherous, brought a winning bid of $31,000 from Doug Dilloian Jr. and the Huntsville three-year-old Lannister Hanover p,3,1:53h went to Brewer Adams for $30,800.
