The post position draw for the Super Sunday Championships at Hippodrome 3R will take place live on the racetrack's Facebook page today (Wednesday, Sept. 7) at 2 p.m.

This Sunday, Sept. 11 is Super Sunday at 3R featuring the richest day of racing in all of Quebec. More than $500,000 in total purse money featuring the Quebec-Bred Championships for two and three-year-old trotters and pacers.

Fans are invited to attend the draw for the eight finals on Wednesday starting at 2 p.m. at the Taverne Racée de Québec, 815 St-Joseph-Est Street.

The draws will be broadcast live on the Hippodrome 3R Facebook page. The broadcast will be done in French.

A two-time O’Brien Award-winning Driver of the Year, Louis-Philippe Roy will be coming back to drive at 3R this Sunday in the finals. He is the breeder and co-owner of the two-year-old pacing filly finalist Pocahontas Du Lac.

There are four finals for three-year-olds, each racing for a purse of $65,000. The two-year-olds also have four finals, each racing for a purse of $55,000.
