Bulldog Hanover Still No. 1
There was little movement in the Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll, with the top five horses holding their positions and Alrajah One IT the only newcomer.
Bulldog Hanover, Joviality S, Test Of Faith, Bella Bellini and Beach Glass were ranked one through five. Beach Glass was the only one in action last week, winning his elimination of the Delvin Miller Adios Pace for the Orchids.
Pebble Beach, who won the other Adios elimination, moved from seventh to sixth, swapping places with idle Jimmy Freight. Rebuff, also idle, remained eighth and was followed by Spirit of Massachusetts winner Alrajah One IT and idle Treacherous Dragon.
Fashion Schooner dropped out of the Top 10.
The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll does not determine U.S. Horse of the Year. The members of the U.S. Harness Writers Association vote on all Dan Patch Award division winners plus Trotter of the Year, Pacer of the Year and Horse of the Year.
Rankings based on the votes of harness racing media representatives on a 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis.
