Sent off at odds of 5-1, the four-year-old daughter of Kadabra-P L Indyanaca improved her seasonal record to 4-2-0 from eight trips to the track for owner/trainer Matt Dupuis of Rockwood, Ont. The 11-time winner pushed her career earnings over $170,000 with the victory.
Monday’s card also featured a trio of third leg Pop Up Series divisions for male pacers, with each division worth $12,500.
Captain Video front-stepped his way to a 1:50.1 triumph in the first division for the team of driver Louis-Philippe Roy and trainer Richard Moreau.
Ecurie CSL and Gaston Bibeau share ownership on the five-year-old son of Captaintreacherous-Eitherurinorurout who improved his 2022 record to 4-3-3 from 26 attempts with the victory. The 16-time winner is quickly closing in on $200,000 in lifetime earnings.
Rays Kredit survived final turn interference to win the second division for the team of driver Trevor Henry and trainer Brett Lester.
Race favourite Alex Having Fun shot to the top and carved out fractions of :27.4, :56.3 and 1:24.4. Mayhem Like Me came first-over on the leader around the final turn, and that one was determined to have bothered the second over Rays Kredit. Despite the interference, Rays Kredit kept on driving and used a :27.1 closing panel to win by a neck over Alex Having Fun in 1:52.3. Bettorbeflyin was third.

Hesincontrol survived a first-over trip to take home his second straight win the series for the tandem of driver Doug McNair and trainer Lyle MacArthur.
Sent off as the 2-5 favourite, Hesincontrol landed fifth in the early going while Dragon Energy and Bolt Power took turns on the lead through fractions of :27.2 and :57. Hesincontrol was on the move on the way to the half, and he sprinted up on the outside to show a short lead over Bolt Power at the three-quarter pole in 1:23.4. A :27.2 closing quarter propelled Hesincontrol to the neck decision over Saulsbrook Victor in 1:51.1. Dragon Energy was third.
The four-year-old son of Control The Moment-Southwind Madonna is owned by Linda Wellwood and Tammy Aspden. They watched the pacer improved his 2022 record to 5-1-3 from 15 starts in the process. The eight-time winner now boasts a bankroll in excess of $110,000.
