Grand Slam At Truro For American Risk
It’s now four straight wins and counting for American Risk at Truro Raceway following a facile score in Friday’s $2,500 top class over the Nova Scotia half-miler.
In rein to Andrew Campbell, American Risk went to the lead from Post 6 and successfully sailed through fractions of :27.2, :57 and 1:26.1 before using a :30.4 closing panel to win by 1-1/2 lengths over Johnnywalkerdelux in 1:57. Vines To Heaven was third.
George Rennison trains the six-year-old son of American Ideal-Kissing Bandit for Risky Bizz Group of Truro, NS. The victory gives him a 4-for-4 record this season and a 21-for-69 record over the course of his career. He recently surpassed $80,000 in lifetime earnings.
