To help fill the gaps between legs in the Ohio Sires Stakes (OHSS) calendar, MGM Northfield Park will add three overnight races for OHSS eligible sophomores in the coming weeks.

For Saturday night, June 4 (draw Tuesday morning, May 31), an event for OHSS eligible three-year-old filly trotters will be written with a purse of $20,000 ($17,500 per division if two or more).

Events with the same conditions for OHSS eligible three-year-old filly pacers and three-year-old colt & gelding trotters will be written for Saturday night, June 11 (draw Tuesday morning, June 7), which is also the night of the $200,000 Battle of Lake Erie. The second leg of the OHSS for three-year-old colt & gelding pacers will also be contested at Northfield that night.

A $35,000 Invitational for four-year-old and up Ohio-sired pacing mares will also be contested on the Battle of Lake Erie undercard.
