Flamboro Downs is forced to cancel its live card of harness racing slated for Saturday, May 21 due to a severe storm that came through the Hamilton area causing major power outages.  

The decision to cancel live racing is to ensure the safety of all racing participants.

Ontario Racing is working with the AGCO and Ontario racetracks to reschedule the Prospect Series either as drawn within seven days, or to a date to be determined later in the season. Participants will be informed as soon as a decision is made.

Racing will resume tomorrow (Sunday, May 22) with the inaugural running of the Charles Juravinski Memorial Cup.  First post time is set for 6:55 p.m.
