Abbetross Series Delayed A Week
Winter-like cold weather and a dusting of snow resulted in the cancellation of Sunday’s card at Fraser Downs

The featured race was scheduled to be the $15,000 final of the Abbetross Claiming Series, which will now be raced Sunday, January 22. The race will retain its original post positions. The morning line favourite is Red Star Cash.
Fraser Downs' trackman Darcy Perdue had an inkling the weather was taking a troubling turn when the Surrey oval was hit with snow late during Friday night’s card.
The $5,000 divisions of the Miss Onager Claiming Series were not interrupted on Friday, as Shes Rarin and Kg Tigress delivered winning efforts.
The Miss Onager series will continue Friday night.
Sunday’s card will begin at the regular start time of 1:45 p.m.
