Cedric Washington has drawn, the morning line favourite, for Monticello Raceway's 12th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Pace, which will head to post this Tuesday

(January 17).

Each year since 2001, the 'Mighty M' has featured the Dr. King Pace not only to pay tribute to the great civil rights leader, but to showcase the talents of African-American drivers.

CC Make A Buck will be making his second start of the season in the Dr. King Pace. In 2011, the Noble Sam gelding won nine of 27 starts and banked $20,341.

The dash has been carded as Race 6 and will feature a field of eight.

First-race post time for the 13-dash card is 12:25 p.m.
