Braden Notches Fifth Straight Win

Since late November, Braden has been invincible, winning five straight including the $15,500 Four & Five-Year-Old Pace on Sunday, January 15 at Dover Downs

.

In each of his five wins, Jon Roberts has taken the four-year-old altered son of Arts Chip-Tammy C Tresa right to the front and has never been headed for owner-trainer Bobby Glassmeyer.

Braden won his Sunday assignment in 1:53.4 by over three lengths. Rockin Robert (Ross Wolfenden) closed to finish second with Allstar Shark (Montrell Teague) hustling up to finish third. Fourty Four Magnum was scratched.

Braden has won seven of his 35 career starts and has banked $55,548 lifetime.

In one of two $20,000 Delaware Claiming Allowances, meet leading driver Corey Callahan posted his fifth win of the day guiding Only Money Inc. and Dylan Davis’ Complete Desire to a 1:53.3 decision, nipping Beach Fighter A (Matt Kakaley) with Idlylwood Phoenix (Daryl Bier) the show finisher. It was trainer Dylan Davis’ second win of the day.

Sectionline Blast, owned-trained and driven by Daryl Bier, just got up to catch the pacesetting Theredandpanlines (Jon Roberts) at the wire in 1:53.4 to win the other $20,000 claimer. Jovial Jester N (Sean Bier) was third.

Delivered From Zen puts an eight-win streak on the line in the $30,000 Preferred Pace while Nova Artist is the one to beat in the $30,000 Delaware Special in Monday’s Dr. Martin Luther King Day double feature.
