The Dover Downs publicity office has reported that 41-year-old horseman Brian Richards passed away on Thursday, January 12

.

The report has stated that Richards suffered a heart attack while en route to the racetrack.

Brian is survived by his wife, Berna, and four children.

Funeral details are not immediately known, but Trot Insider will update this notice when more information is learned.
