Buffalo To Throw Dine And Derby Party
When the 148th Kentucky Derby takes place on Saturday, May 7, Buffalo Raceway on the Fairgrounds in Hamburg, New York, will give its patrons three options to enjoy the greatest two minutes in sports. Whether it's just stopping by to place a wager or making a full day of it, patrons have the choice.
New this season is the Dine And Derby Party that will take place in the Carousel Room in the lower level of the Clubhouse from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. It's $25 per person, paid in advance, and reservations must be made. The price includes the catered buffet from 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. The menu includes Italian sausage with peppers and onions, seasoned baked chicken, pulled pork and roast beef with mini kaiser rolls along with various side dishes, salads and desserts.
Happy Hour will run from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. with a cash bar and the bar will be open for the entire party.
Patrons will also receive race programs for both Buffalo Raceway and Churchill Downs along with a $10 in Hamburg Gaming free play and exclusive promotions and giveaways.
Tellers will also be available for party patrons only.

Buffalo Raceway will offer a live harness racing program on Derby Day with the first post time scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Post time for the final live race of the afternoon is expected to go off at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Patrons can enjoy the card in the Clubhouse with reservations highly recommended. Walk-ins will be accommodated if possible.
The Winner's Circle Bistro will open at 1 p.m. with the Clubhouse Sports Bar to start service at noon.
After the live racing program is completed, the Clubhouse will remain open for simulcast wagering including the Kentucky Derby. Reservations for the Clubhouse can be made by calling 716-649-1280, extension 6300.
The Derby Express will also be open again this year in the Clubhouse Party Section from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. to allow fans to place a wager for the Kentucky Derby.
