The Ontario Sires Stakes Administration would like to remind stallion owners that the deadline to register their stallion for the OSS program for the 2012 breeding season without incurring a late fee is January 15

. However, since January 15 falls on a Sunday this year, payments showing a postmark of Monday, January 16 or earlier will be accepted.

Payments can also be made in person at the Ontario Racing Commission office (10 Carlson Court, Suite 400, Toronto, ON) during regular business hours up to 5:00 p.m. on January 16.

Stallions not registered by the deadline can still be registered for the 2012 breeding season for an increased fee. However, they must be registered before they breed their first mare of the season.

Stallion Registration forms were mailed in December to anyone registering a stallion in the past two years. If you did not receive a form, it can be downloaded from the forms section of the OSS website at www.ontariosiresstakes.com.

All cheques should be made payable and mailed (registered mail or courier is recommended to ensure that it is postmarked by January 16th) to:
