Ontario Breedings Donated To New Vocations
Breedings to All Bets Off, Artspeak, Holiday Road, My MVP, Sunshine Beach and Wheeling N Dealin have been generously donated to New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program to support Standardbred aftercare.
These breedings are available for purchase on a live foal basis for mares that are good breeding candidates.
“We deeply appreciate the Ontario breeders’ wonderful support of our efforts,” said New Vocations Executive Director Dot Morgan. “As an example of their generosity at work, we recently had the privilege of retraining and adopting the classy Ontario-bred gelding New Talent. The son of Mach Three raced 141 times and earned $450,000. He was a delight to rehab, retrain and rehome. Class horses usually are!"
Here is a six-month update that we just received from Anne & Vivienne Hilton:
“Hello! I can’t believe that we’ve had New Talent for six months! He has become my family and my best friend and the epitome of what I’ve always heard of people refer to as their “heart horse”. Talent is my baby! He loves people and he loves attention. He is such a good boy! I can groom him in the pasture and put his blanket on and off of him without even using a halter. I’m teaching my kids how to ride, and he is so patient and careful. Thank you for trusting me with him. He has made a huge difference in our lives, and we adore him.’”
