The British Horseracing Authority has found 11 individuals, including four jockeys, guilty of corruption stemming from an investigation into race fixing in 2009

The BBC has reported that riders Paul Doe and Greg Fairley are facing 25-year bans, while fellow jocks Kirsty Milczarek and Jimmy Quinn were also found guilty of offenses.

Doe and Fairley were found guilty of 'not riding a horse to its merits,' while Milczarek and Quinn were found guilty of 'corrupt or fraudulent practices.' The article also states that Milczarek also passed information along for a reward. A former jock-turned trainer, Paul Fitzsimons, who had been implicated in the matter, was cleared of the charges in which he was facing.

Five others were also found guilty of 'corrupt or fraudulent practice' and are now facing 10-year bans.
