Trot Insider has learned that veterinarian Dr. A. Blair Kelly, who also bred and owned standardbreds in the Maritimes, passed away peacefully at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, December 12 at the age of 80

Beloved husband of Florence (nee MacKinnon). Loving father of Beth (predeceased), Donna (Eugene) Gill, Jamie (Coleen) and Doug (Laurie) Kelly. 'Grampy' to Andrew, Shane, Brianna, Josh, Whitney, Annika, Tatiana, Maura and Liam. Survived by sister Edith Stewart and predeceased by sister Helen MacCallum and brothers Walter and Dr. Hammond Kelly.

Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Thursday, December 15 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Clifton Cemetery. If so desired, memorials to The Queen Elizabeth Hospital or Trinity United Church would be appreciated. Visiting hours on Wednesday, December 14 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
