Kandor Hanover put the field away with a swift third panel, then cruised to her second straight victory — and fourth in the last five starts — in Monday’s $22,500 Filly & Mare Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows

Kandor Hanover was fifth down the backside when she and Dave Palone began their uncovered assault on the leader, Victory Is Coming. The five-year-old daughter of Tagliabue-Katelyns Glory blazed the third quarter in :27.3 and scored comfortably in 1:55. Photo Fantasy rallied for second, two lengths back, while Victory Is Coming saved show.
Bill Zendt trains Kandor Hanover, who now boasts $428,235 in career earnings, for Online Stables, John Burns and Pat Huber. It was one of five wins for Palone on the 16-race card.
