Manofmanymissions, who trotted the fastest mile in New Jersey Sire Stakes history, has been selected as the overall N. J. Sire Stakes Horse of the Year for 2011

The award, which is voted annually by the Sire Stakes Board of Trustees, is based solely on performances in races for New Jersey-sired horses, including NJSS races and other major stakes for NJ-sired performers.

Manofmanymissions set the Sire Stakes record of 1:52.1 winning the $175,000 NJSS Premier Division Championship Final for three-year-old trotting colts and geldings in August at The Meadowlands. He was undefeated in NJSS competition, also winning a preliminary leg of the NJSS series. Andy Miller drove in both victories.

At the time, his 1:52.1 clocking matched the season’s leader mark he had set in July winning the $166,000 Stanley Dancer Trot at The Meadowlands.

After his NJSS championship victory, Manofmanymissions went on to win the $500,000 Colonial Trot at Chester , a $196,000 heat and $98,000 final of the Kentucky Futurity at Lexington and an elimination of the Breeders Crown at Woodbine. He also had a fourth-place finish in the $1-million Canadian Trotting Classic at Mohawk. David Miller was his driver in those starts.

The son of Yankee Glide, trained by Erv Miller, won nine of 15 starts overall as a three-year-old, earning $1,213,603 in his career for his owners, Manofmanymissions Stable, Mystical Marker Farms and M Biasuzzi Stable. The colt was bred by Kentuckiana Farms.
