Kentuckiana Reduces Fees
Kentuckiana Farms and VAE Stallion Management announced today (Tuesday, November 22) that they have lowered the 2012 service fees for a pair of stallions
.
Western Terror will stand for a fee of $10,000 in the 2012 breeding season.
Western Terror's 2012 fee marks a reduction of $5,000 on the 10-year-old son of Western Hanover who has had an exceptional year on the racetrack. His notables include Economy Terror, Up The Credit, Drop The Ball and the New Zealand Cup winner Terror To Love. The horse stands at Edelson Equine Associates of Manheim, Pennsylvania.
Meanwhile, the fee has also been reduced on Western Terror's full brother, If I Can Dream, who stands at Majestic View Farm International of Gardiner, New York. The winner of $2 million in purse earnings will be standing his third season and will command a fee of $6,000, down from $10,000.
"Given the economic times, we felt we had to be supportive of our customers and breeders in general," said Bob Brady of Kentuckiana Farms.
"Western Terror represents a bargain given the way he is producing --- he's the hottest pacing sire in the game now. If I Can Dream has had great support at stud, and with this reduction in New York he should remain popular."
