Noble To Turn Up The Pressure

In an effort to get the better of driver George Brennan in the North American Dash Winners Race, pilot Dan Noble has stated that he is going to be ramping up his number of drives as the 2011 race season nears a close

.

Heading into the scheduled programs of racing for Thursday, November 17, Noble held a four-win edge, 692-688, on the 'Minister of Speed,' George Brennan.

A report by D'Arcy Egan in The Plain Dealer explains that that Noble, who is currently in the midst of a career-best season in the race bike, is planning on racing five nights a week at Northfield Park through the end of December.

"These days, I choose the horses I race, greatly increasing my number of winners. The long, three-hour drive from my home to Northfield Park hasn't been any fun at all, but I'm starting to get used to it," Noble, a resident of Wilmington, Ohio, was quoted as saying in the report. "I like driving at Northfield. It's a nice track, and I can keep really busy. The other horsemen have teased me a little, but they've been really supportive."

Tim Tetrick, with 665 wins on the campaign, currently sits third in seasonal driving wins. He is followed in fourth by Dave Palone (650), while George Napolitano, Jr. rounds out the North American Top 5 with 503 wins.

Oakville, Ontario's Scott Zeron sits sixth overall on the continent with 500 winners, which currently leads Canada.
