Clintons Escape Repeats In Fraser Open
Front-stepper Clintons Escape prevailed in a tight finish over pocket-sitter Nobody Can to record his second consecutive victory in the $12,500 Open Pace at Fraser Downs on Saturday

The Keith Clark-trained and driven four-year-old left from post position two and led the way through fractions of :28, :57 and 1:25 en route to the 1:53.1 triumph by a neck. Slight favourite Nobody Can and driver Jim Marino was followed by 19-1 longshot Cash Account and Carl Sibiga.
Clintons Escape is owned by Clark and breeder Allan Neurauter of High River, Alta.
The son of Clintons Cigar and Emotionaliscape has won four times in 17 seasonal starts while banking $40,229. The win was his 17th overall and boosted his career bankroll to $229,051.
He paid $4.80 to win.
