Horseman Dale E. Dufty passed away at the age of 74 on Monday, October 31 at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital

Son of the late Bill and Edith Dufty, brother of the late Paula (Bill) Haight and Brent (Sandra) Dufty, uncle to seven nieces and nephews, great uncle to 10 nieces and nephews and great, great uncle to one niece and one nephew.

Dale spent most of his career driving and training horses close to London, Ont. He also spent time at other tracks across Canada and the United States. Dale was affiliated with horses such as WB Arnie, Ozark Peter and Superwave.

Visitation will take place Thursday, November 3, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas, Ontario.

A funeral will follow the visitation at 3:00 p.m.

Donations can be made to the St. Thomas General Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society.
