Hour Lavec Repeats In Preferred
Eight trotters went toe-to-toe in Tuesday’s $15,000 Preferred at Georgian Downs, and for the second week-in-a-row Hour Lavec was untouchable

The streaking, five-year-old son of Mr Lavec-Magic Hour marched to the top and kept on rolling en route to a second consecutive in the Innisfil oval’s top class for square gaiters.
Billy Davis, Jr. hustled Hour Lavec through fractions of :28, :57.4 and 1:26 before using a :28.4 final quarter to deliver the knock out punch. Lexis D J was second best behind the 6-5 favourite, with Southwind Vavoom rounding out the top three finishers.
Bill Davis trains the productive campaigner, who improved his 2011 record to 10-1-1 in 27 starts, for owners Jeff and Debbie Elchuk of Surrey, BC. The veteran performer has stashed away close to $85,000 this season and more than $277,000 to date.
