The Ontario travel and tourism industry will convene next week for the seventh annual Tourism Summit at the Hamilton Convention Centre from October 2 to 5

. The summit is presented by the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation (OTMPC) and the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario (TIAO).

Standardbred Canada’s 'I Love Canadian Harness Racing' Fan Club Team, along with the SRA Marketing Committee representing Ontario harness racing, will take part in the Marketplace and Reception which will kick off the summit on Sunday, October 2.

Flamboro Downs is also taking part in the summit and will be one of the sponsors of the Welcome Reception at the Art Gallery on Monday, October 3.

The summit is an annual forum for the tourism industry to share the latest trends, be exposed to new ideas and best practices, and network with colleagues.

Entitled 'Taking Care of Business,' the 2011 conference theme will focus on insightful strategies to help inspire and engage today's highly sophisticated and connected travellers and will include a series of keynote presentations and hands-on workshops.
