2011 Canadian Yearling Sale Complete
Rockin With Dewey fetched the highest price in Sunday's second and final session of the 2011 Canadian Yearling Sale at Flamboro Downs

Sold as Hip 166, Rockin With Dewey is from the first crop of trotting superstar Deweycheatumnhowe and from the family of standouts Pure Ivory and two-year-old sensation The Game Plan. Ben Baillargeon ponied up $100,000 to pluck the colt from the Peninsula Farm consignment.
Hip 22, Occult Master topped the first session. The regally-bred Camluck - Mystic Mistress colt was collared by Millar Farms of Newmarket, Ont. for $180,000 from the Preferred Equine consignment. Millar also purchased the highest priced filly, Classy Hidden Rose. The Jeremes Jet - Titanic Rose filly, a full sister to impressive two-year-old Classy Lane Rose, was consigned by Peninsula Farm and sold for $95,000.
Hip 56, Bad Boy Matt was purchased by trainer Tony O'Sullivan for the SBOA New Owner Mentoring Group. O'Sullivan will team with mentor Brian Webster on the yearling, a $22,000 purchase.
A total of 302 yearlings sold over the two-day session for a total of $4.415 million, providing an average of $14,621. Highest averages among sex and gait went to trotting colts ($17,375) and pacing colts ($16,365).
