The Kentucky Sires Stakes will continue with its second leg tonight (Thursday, September 1) at the Red Mile, with over $250,000 in purses on the line during the 15-race, all-stakes program

.

The sires stakes aces on the card will be the final opportunity for the two and three-year olds to earn enough points for a berth to the track's $2 million Night of Champions, which will be held on Sunday, September 11.

Juvenile trotters filled the entry box, and, as a result, three $15,000 divisions have been drawn for both the colts and fillies.

Live racing continues at the Red Mile every Thursday, Friday, and Sunday evening. First-race post time is 7:00 p.m.
