Distinction Day In Montreal
It was wall-to-wall Distinction divisions for two-year-olds highlighting this afternoon's 13-race program at the Hippodrome de Montreal.

Pacing Fillies
Flanagan Beauty won for the fifth time in as many starts in the first of two $15,000 divisions for the pacing lasses. The Electric Stena miss led at every call for Gilles Dion, who guided the Pierre Touchette trainee to the win. Michel Flanagan of Repentigny, QC holds the papers on the career winner of $21,250.
Magnificentobseshn held on for a nose decision in the other split in a time of 2:00.4 for trainer Jean Pierre Charron and driver Mario Charron. It was the second win in six starts for the Broadway Blue miss, who is owned by R Berthiaume Inc. of Montreal, QC.
Pacing Colts & Geldings
Up Winning celebrated his first lifetime win thanks to a 2:00.2 score in his $15,000 assignment for trainer/driver Dustin Jones. The son of Aces Up, who is owned by Ecurie Synergie of Montreal, QC, used a :29.2 final frame to pick up the win.
Quincy Bayama overcame a Post 10 start to take the second division in a time of 2:01.3 for trainer Jack Calce and driver Sylvain Filion. It was the second victory in six tries for the son of High Profile, who is owned by Les Ecuries JYJ Inc. of St. Andre d'Argenteuil, QC.
Onyx V A closed from out of the clouds to pull off a 6-1 mild upset in the final split for owner/trainer Andre Laroque and partner Violine Plante of Quebec. Daniel Potvin guided the son of Electric Stena, who owns a 2-1-2 record in his first six starts, to the 1:58.1 score.
Trotting Fillies
Quelene Bayama picked up her second win in as many tries for the father/son duo of trainer Yves Filion and driver Sylvain Filion in the opening division, which toted a purse of $15,000. The Fill V miss, who is owned by Les Ecuries JYJ Inc. of St. Andre d'Argenteuil, QC stopped the teletimer in a career-best clocking of 2:03.2.
Trinity Oaks also remains undefeated in her two starts thanks to her 2:05.4 score in the second division for trainer Julie Leblond and driver Yves Gauthier. The daughter of Armbro Winner is owned by Prospect Trot S E N C of St. Eustache, QC.
Jo Jo Bingbing broke her maiden in the third split for trainer/driver Marcel Barrieau, who guided the Armbro Nash miss to the 2:03.2 decision. She is owned by Quebec partners Conrad Leber and Richard Karper.
Trotting Colts & Geldings
M C Felix held on to win by a neck in a time of 2:04.2, thus equaling his career-best clocking for trainer Noreen Paulin and owner/driver Norm Dessureault of Coteau du Lac, QC. The son of A Js Tycoon now boasts a 4-1-0 in his first five starts.
Quater Bayama also made his first trip to victory lane thanks to an impressive 2:02 score in the second division for trainer Jack Calce and driver Yves Filion. The son of Armbro Nash, who is owned by Les Ecuries JYJ Inc. of St. Andre d'Argenteuil, QC, drew off to win by more than three lengths.
