Accolade For Feelin Friskie 2yo
Gun Show has started his career a perfect three-for-three, and his efforts have earned him the Ohio chapter of the United States Harness Writers Association’s July 'Horse of the Month.'
The two-year-old colt started his month and career with a victory in a $35,300 leg of the Ohio Sires Stakes at Scioto Downs on July 2. Two weeks later, Gun Show was back in the Scioto Downs winner’s circle with a $34,300 OSS score in 1:56.3. The son of Feelin Friskie completed his perfect month with a victory in the $9,400 Buckeye Super Stakes event at Northfield Park on July 30.
Gun Show was purchased for just $3,500 at the 2010 Ohio Select Sale by Milton J. Leeman and Dustin W. Arledge. Jim Arledge, Jr. conditions Gun Show and Dan Noble has steered the colt in all of his victories.
