Trot Insider has learned that standardbred owner Abe 'Dutch' Ozinga recently passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at Victoria Hospital in London, Ont. after a long and courageous battle with cancer

Friends and acquaintances of Ozinga, who was 81 at the time of his passing, are asked to pay their respects during visitation on Monday, August 1 at the Logan/Biemans Funeral home in Dorchester, Ont. from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, August 2.
