Trev Adams Attack Wins Scioto Open

Trev Adams Attack was the easiest possible winner in the Open Pace at Scioto Downs on Saturday night. Hall of Famer Chip Noble gave him a perfect pocket trip and he paced past the leader Camcoder in the stretch for a 1:54.4 win

.

The four-year-old gelded son of On The Attack was shipping in from Hoosier Park and scored his fifth win in 13 starts this season.

Kyle Ater sent the 5-1 shot Camcoder to the front at the start and Noble dropped the 6-5 favourite Trev Adams Attack on his back. The 2-1 second choice, I Ota Win, suffered broken equipment early in the race and was pulled up by driver Kayne Kauffman. Realiscape made a first-over move to challenge Camcoder in the second quarter with Most Remarkable on his back. They were unable to get past the pacesetter, and when they faded that allowed Trev Adams Attack to launch his attack. At the wire, Camcoder was two and three-quarter lengths behind the winner with Big Bad TJ finishing third.

Mark Gillenwater trains Trev Adams Attack for owners Robert Gilmore, Frank Barsch, and John Rogers.
