Hambo Winner Victory Dream Dies
Victory Dream, the winner of the 1994 Hambletonian, was euthanized earlier today at Walnut Hall Ltd. after suffering from health problems.
The son of Valley Victory, who went 12-for-22 and banked $1,016,537 in his career, will be buried at the Walnut Hall Cemetery. He was 17.
Victory Dream was owned by the FA Stable and was later syndicated by the Victory Dream Stable prior to winning the Hambletonian. Once his racing career was over, he joined the stallions ranks at Walnut Hall Ltd. in Lexington, KY.
He went on to sire a number of top performers including Hambletonian winner Self Possessed (1:51.3 - $1,346,390), Breeders Crown winner Dream Of Joy (1:57 - $826,601) and Raffaello Ambrosio (1:53.1 - $810.614).
