Atlantic Sires Stakes harness racing action will heat up again this weekend when Northside Downs plays host to the three-year-old pacing fillies on Saturday afternoon at the North Sydney track.

The three-year-old fillies will go in three $7,280 'A' divisions. There will also be one $2,500 'B' division.

This will be the fourth ATSS meeting for the fillies this year.

Following Saturday’s race card, the competitors will only have two more opportunities to earn points to gain a coveted position in the season-ending Atlantic Breeders Crown Championships. This year’s ABC will be hosted by Red Shores Charlottetown on October 8 and 9.

First-race post time is 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
