O Ts Attack Prevails In 'Boomer' Final
O Ts Attack remained unbeaten in Baby To Boomer Series action with a front-stepping score in the $22,700 final on Saturday night at Sudbury Downs
The three-leg series is for five-year-olds and younger that are non-winners of one race or $7,500 (fillies and mares $10,000) lifetime as of May 28.
O Ts Attack, who competed in the first and second legs of series and won those assignments, returned to the Chelmsford half-miler after a week off and nosed out Artist List (David Dowling) for the 1:59.3 score. Rockadile Man (Mario Rivest) finished a length and a quarter behind in third.
The five-year-old On The Attack-True Stunner gelding, driven by Paul MacLean, paid $6.60 to win as the slight 2-1 second choice. France MacLean trains for Gerry Gauthier of Azilda, Ont.
After starting his career on the Ohio fair circuit back in 2008 without much success, O Ts Attack returned to the track this year and has won five of 11 starts while banking $26,265.
