Kevin Wallis won exactly half of this afternoon's 12-race card at Dresden Raceway, and in doing so it helped him inch a bit closer the $40-million mark in lifetime earnings.

The resident of Maidstone, Ontario wrapped up the day with $39,972,717 in earnings, which leaves him a mere $27,283 shy of the money milestone.

Nite Games (2:05.4) got the ball rolling for Wallis with a front-stepping score in Race 2, and he pushed his daily win total to two thanks to a coast-to-coast win with The Boss (2:03.4) in Race 4.

He notched a natural hat trick in Races 6 through 8 thanks to scores with Regans Pleasure (2:05.2), Island Dolly (2:01.1) and Bootscootnfloozie (2:01.4). Ondowntheroad (1:58.4) led every step of the way in Race 11 to complete Wallis' six-win performance.

Kevin Wallis is well on his way to enjoying his 16th consecutive season of banking in excess of $1 million in earnings.
