The Meadows will offer a $20,000 guaranteed pool for its Wednesday Pick 4, the largest pool guarantee since the track re-introduced the Pick 4 wager in May

The Meadows has been offering $5,000 guaranteed Pick 4 pools each Monday and Tuesday throughout May and June. When no players hit this week’s Monday and Tuesday Pick 4, generating a carryover of $8,512.33, the track teamed with the United States Trotting Association Strategic Wagering Program to provide the unique guarantee and make Wednesday’s Pick 4 even more exciting.

First post Wednesday is 6:55 p.m., with the Pick 4 spanning Races 10-13.

In Tuesday’s $22,500 Filly & Mare Preferred Handicap Pace, Jans Luck worked out a comfortable pocket trip, then charged through the Lightning Lane to capture the 40th victory of her distinguished career.

With her archrival, Spring Break, on the point, Jans Luck waited patiently before clicking off the last quarter in :28.1. The seven-year-old daughter of Camluck-Jans Scooter scored in 153.1 for Dave Palone. The first-over Star Keeper was second, while Spring Break saved show.

Ron Burke trains Jans Luck, who now boasts $905,867 in career earnings, for Burke Racing Stable LLC, Weaver Bruscemi LLC, JJK Stables LLC and M1 Stable LLC.

Palone drove six winners and Tony Hall four on the 14-race card.
