Tioga Downs will offer a live matinee card of racing on the Memorial Day holiday, Monday, May 30

.

Included on the condition sheet for that day are a battery of unofficial preps for New York-bred three-year-olds of each sex and gait. These races are designed to ensure the sires stake horses a start against other sophomores heading into the first leg of the program.

The preps require entrants to be NYSS eligible and do not count toward the point total kept for the NYSS finals. The purse for each is $10,000.

Entries are due for the May 30 Tioga card by 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 27.

First-race post time will be 1:30 p.m.
