Western Fair Raceway will be celebrating 50 years of harness racing tonight at the track with several special promotions including a draw for a 2010 Dodge Challenger SXT

and $5,000 in cash in the finale of the Horsepower Fridays promotion.

The first 500 patrons with a program coupon will receive a commemorative lapel pin. Programs will cost 25 cents and hot dogs are only 50 cents. Customer appreciation draws will take place after every race.

Tonight’s program includes several divisions of the City of London Pacing Series. The eighth race is Western Fair’s 50th Anniversary Pace after which the winner of the truck will be drawn.

Tonight’s program, which gets underway at 7:05 p.m., is an opportunity for Western Fair to express its gratitude to all the fans that have supported racing at its facility over the past five decades.
