Sunday September 4, Clinton Raceway will play home to not only some of the biggest names in harness racing, but also a hockey legend

. Theo Fleury will accompany the line up of legendary drivers for autographs, pictures, and an on-track interview.

Fans will also have the opportunity to win a VIP dinner with Fleury that evening, all while supporting the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation. Raffle tickets will be available at a cost of $10 each or three for $20, and will include five prizes, with the grand prize being a VIP dinner for up to eight people with Fleury. Other prizes to include, autographed memorabilia, NHL tickets and more.

Incorporated into the day will be a massive chicken barbeque for family get-togethers, reunions and staff appreciation. Tickets for the BBQ will be $12 each and a large portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the Hospital Foundation. During the BBQ there will be children’s activities and entertainment for all.

Over the last 10 years Clinton Raceway and its supporters have helped to raise over $100,000 for the local foundation.

First-race post time for Legends Day is set for 1:30 p.m. on Sunday September 4, 2011.
