Connections High On Federal Flex
Driver Jody Jamieson has commented on undefeated two-year-old trotting colt Federal Flex, the Muscles Yankee colt whom captured a division of the Champlain Stakes Sunday at Mohawk Racetrack.
Jamieson, who owns a piece of the $100,000 Harrisburg yearling buy, told the Brantford Expositor that the connections are high on the bay. Federal Flex has triumphed in all three of his starts.
"He's just perfect to drive, just two fingers," said Jamieson, who mentioned that the horse's biggest attribute is that he acts like an aged performer.
"You would think he had 30-40 starts under his belt and he just happens to possess the speed and the manners to go with it."
Federal Flex is trained by Carl Jamieson. Jody mentioned to the Brantford Expositor that Federal Flex is being pointed to the rich William Wellwood Memorial, to kick off at Mohawk with eliminations Sunday, September 7.
