Carlson Clicks For Seven At Windsor

Driver Eric Carlson did to his fellow reinsman at Windsor Raceway what the Chicago Blackhawks did to Roberto Luongo and his Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday night – they both managed to put a seven on the board

.

Luongo had his lamp lit seven times by the defending Stanley Cup Champions at the United Centre in Chicago, Illinois, and in the meantime Carlson was putting on a clinic of his own during Tuesday’s 11-race card at Windsor Raceway.

Carlson of Ypsilanti, Michigan made his first trip to victory lane with Another Breeze following her 1:57.4 triumph in Race 2. He came right back to take Race 3 with Sunny Sarah in 1:58.4, and then completed his hat trick by guiding Envy to a 1:58.1 triumph in Race 5.

He took Race 6 with Country Fresh in a time of 1:58.2 before sweeping the final three races on the card with Tiffany Malone (1:58.3), Arizona Dream (1:59.2) and Missmaximus (1:57.1).

Carlson leads all Windsor reinsmen this season thanks to his 125 trips to the winner’s circle at the border oval. No other reinsman has yet to reach the 100-win mark this year.

The career winner of 1,485 races enjoyed a career-year in 2010 for wins (603) and purses earned ($1,832,944). He’s well on his way to setting new personal records this season. He has already racked up 232 wins and more than $870,000 in purse earnings.
