. The Cambridge, Ontario resident has captured four O'Brien Awards as Canada's top trainers with career earnings over $31 million.
Now, the 30-year-old is once again preparing her students which she hopes to be another successful season. Coleman is hoping for a lucrative season from a trio of retuning three-year-olds in Idyllic ($805,829), Pretty Katherine ($360,698) and Ohmygosh Hanover ($155,129).
Idyllic, who was voted Canada's two-year-old filly of the year in 2010, was defeated just once in eight career starts as a freshman with victories in the $688,000 Shes A Great Lady and $501,000 Three Diamonds final.
Coleman's richest sophomore last season was the $666,000 Fan Hanover Stakes final and $300,000 O.S.S. Super Final winner, Western Silk ($1,420,916). The four-year-old daughter of Western Terror will be facing older company for the first time in her career in the coming months but Coleman is remains optimistic about her chances.
"She's been in 2:18 right now and couldn't be coming back any better. I kept her staked to pretty much everything in Canada this year," Coleman commented. "With 'Silk's racing style, she likes to come from off-the-pace, so hopefully they mix it up in the early going and she can pick up the pieces."
