Defibrillator To Be Installed At First Line Training Centre

Woodbine Entertainment Group Investigator John McEachern and Halton Region PAD Program Co-ordinator Blake Hurst of Halton Region EMS have told Trot Insider that a defibrillator will soon be installed at the training centre.
Hurst also explained that beginning at noon on Wednesday, April 20 he will be conducting a quick 90-minute CPR/AED training session at the training centre. Hurst explained that in addition to teaching horsepeople how to use a defibrillator, he will also be teaching those in attendance about the telltale signs of stroke, heart attack and cardiac arrest.
