Howyadoinpal Acknowledged In Ohio

The only thing tougher than this January’s Ohio weather was Howyadoinpal.

Based on his four wins in the month of January, the six-year-old was named Ohio’s best by the Ohio Chapter of the United States Harness Writers Association.

The gelded son of Keystone Raider started his year on New Year’s Day by scoring a victory in a conditioned event in 1:55.4. In the next 28 days, he added three victories in Northfield Park’s Open Paces. He earned his season’s best mark of 1:53.3 on January 15.

Howyadoinpal is owned by Phillip Fitzwater, Brad Spitnale and trainer William Webb. He was reined by Aaron Merriman in all of his seasonal starts.
