Accident At Exhibition Park
Oceanview Kitty remained unscathed in an accident that occurred in her Atlantic Sires Stakes "A" division for two-year-old filly pacers on Saturday at Exhibition Park Raceway.
The accident occurred going into the final turn of the 11th race of the evening card when O U Hussy (Marc Campbell) fell causing Larshegoes (Clare MacDonald) to follow suit.
There was no word on the conditions of either horses or drivers following the accident, but Campbell did drive in the following 12th race.

Oceanview Kitty posted her third dominating win in five lifetime starts for trainer and co-owner Claude Poirier of Havre, Que.
In rein to Brian MacPhee, the N Xample filly sat in third as Run Them Down (Allan Earl Smith) led through the opening quarter in 29.2. Advancing on the outside through a 1:00 half, Oceanview Kitty took over the lead by a head at the 1:30.2 third quarter mark. Unaffected by the accident, she paced on to score in 2:01.2 by four and a half lengths.
Woodmere Humdinger (Gilles Barrieau) was placed second and Shadow Dancer (Darren Crowe) was placed third.
In the first $13,440 "A" division for two-year-old pacing fillies, Southview Spirit kept her record spotless picking up her third win in three starts for owner Elwood Lawton of Stratford, P.E.I.
After an opening quarter in :31.1 set by Camco Winette (Darren Crowe), Southview Spirit and trainer/driver Gilles Barrieau captured the lead posting a 1:02.3 half. The daughter of Western Paradise pulled away from the field by two lengths at the 1:32.4 third quarter mark, pacing on for the win in 2:02.1 by over four lengths.
P H Quick Chick (Todd Trites) stayed for second and Elleofnxample (Clare MacDonald) came on for third.
Making a drop in class to the $2,500 "B" division for freshman filly pacers, Semjac Legacy went straight to the front and never looked back, posting a 12 and a half length victory in 2:04.1 for trainer and driver Darren Crowe.
During the afternoon card, Exhibition Park hosted the $4,680 Erwin Andrew Memorial Series for open mares and My Fine Lady notched her eighth win of the season and boosted her career earnings to $303,485 for trainer and owner Dr. Shive Trevin of Shubenacadie, NS.
With Todd Trites in the bike, My Fine Lady took the early lead through a :28.2 first quarter. The six-year-old daughter of Dream Away battled back against a challenge by R Es Queen Virginia (Gilles Barrieau) at the :58.1 half and paced on through a 1:27.4 third quarter, pulling away by four and a half lengths to win in 1:57.3.
Timeless Hanover (Allan Earl Smith) was second and R Es Queen Virginia finished third. Abby Best (Clare MacDonald) was disqualified for causing interference to Howmacs Dragon (Marc Campbell) after making a break at the half.
