Harness Racing Museum Announces 2011 Stallion Breeding Auction
The Harness Racing Museum is pleased to announce an exceptional roster of stallions for the 2011 breeding auction. This year’s list includes Hall of Fame inductees Camluck (2008) and Cams Card Shark (2007).
World champion Ponder, new to Ontario in 2011, will share the breeding shed with two-time World Champion and Breeders Crown winner Artistic Fella and Camluck, Ontario’s Leading Money-Winning Sire again in 2010. The Ontario Sires Stakes Super Final winner Windsong Espoir is also available along with Striking Sahbra, sire of winners of over $50 million.
Pennsylvania’s offering includes world champions Art Official and Lear Jetta. Also available in the Keystone State are Pacing Colt of the Year Village Jolt, Nuclear Breeze who retired as the all-age World Champion on a five-eighths mile track, hard hitting The Fraternity Pan, the multiple stakes winner Xactly Hanover and Malabar Millennium.
New York offers an outstanding lineup of stallions starting with Conway Hall, whose foals have earned over $43 million and Conway Court, a half brother to 2010’s Leading Money-Winning Trotting Sire Credit Winner. Also standing in the Empire State is NYSS winners Big Apple Deli and Whelan Willie, NJSS winners CR Excalibur and Diamond Goal, Valley Victory winner RC Royalty, Adios winner Riverboat King, Breeders Crown winner Totally Western, Village Jove, Artist Stena, Spiked Cider and Quality Of Life.
New Jersey is home to World Champion Western Ideal, 1994 Horse of the Year Cams Card Shark and Matts Scooter.
Relocating to Indiana are Cams Eclipse and Valley Victor. Already residents of the Hoosier State are Always A Virgin, Holy Guacamolie, Messenger Stakes winner Metropolitan and Panspacificflight. Coventry stands in Michigan and Illinois is represented by Yankee Skyscaper.
Income raised by the auction, nearly $400,000 over the past 12 years, supports the Museum’s General Operating Fund. It helps to ensure quality services, special exhibitions, travelling exhibits, promotional support and educational programming for children and adults. Our efforts also help to encourage new owners and fans!
